If you’ve ever had a puppy, you’ll probably already know that they’ll chew just about anything they can get their paws on - including our post.
How many of us can relate to finding important letters left in shreds before we’ve even had a chance to read them?
We’ve all been there!
We have to be a little bit clever with our post, which is where a letterbox guard can come in pretty handy. I’d probably say it is an essential when getting a dog.
Some opt for a postbox attached to their external wall. But if you’ve got a postbox and a letterbox, how can you be sure the postman will always choose the right one?
One owner left a hilarious note on their letterbox to make sure. And while it did make us chuckle, we can’t help but feel sorry for the poor dog. Those are some strong words!
The note simply reads: “Please use postbox. (Dog is a dickhead).”
It gave the postman a laugh too, he later shared the photo on Facebook.
And it seems many dog owners could relate to this note.
One said: “I so need to do this! I even have to double lock my door as my dog opens it if someone knocks!”
A second said: “Well, at least you been told and not come back to work fingerless.”
“I wish I thought of this for my dickhead dog,” said another.
