Report from Cleveland Westie Walkers October Walk. Sunday 10th October saw Cleveland Westie Walkers venture to Seaton Carew near Hartlepool for a walk on a new beach to a lot of westies. We had a total of 35 westies , a Westiepoo and a welcome poodle. Along with their hooman families. Caused a lot of conversation around the beach and prom with people never having seen so may white dogs in one place. All positive comments and signed up a few new members for the group while we were at the walk. So many people have either had westies or had family who have them. Westies ranged from around one year old to fourteen year old with some just doing a short walk and meet up , weather was excellent and the tide was out leaving a massive beach to walk on. Most walked towards Hartlepool end of the beach allowing the dogs the chance of exploring the rock pools and have a paddle or swim. Lots of noise from some of the dogs as they enjoyed playing on the beach, some for the first time. Chasing each other and other dogs as they came over to play. Socialising at its best. Our regular walkers were joined by some from Tyne and Wear , Leeds, Bradford and from Scotland . Thanks to all for making it a great walk. We will definitely be going back to Seaton Carew for another Westie Walk, probably next spring. Report pictures are a selection from members of Cleveland Westie Walkers. Hope to see a lot of you on November 14th at Marske Beach for our next group walk.
